1. Definitions
"Pro Personnel" refers to Pro Personnel Recruitment and its authorised consultants. "Client" refers to the company or entity requesting staffing services. "Assignee" refers to any temporary employee assigned by Pro Personnel to the Client.
2. Scope of Services
Pro Personnel will supply suitably screened temporary staff for the assignments specified by the Client. Assignees remain the employees of Pro Personnel for the duration of the assignment, and Pro Personnel administers their remuneration and statutory obligations.
3. Service Fee
A service fee equal to 15% per month of the Assignee's employment costs is payable by the Client. This covers Pro Personnel's management of payroll, statutory contributions, and assignment administration.
Timesheets must be approved by an authorised representative of the Client. Invoices are issued in accordance with approved timesheets and are payable within 14 (fourteen) days of the invoice date.
4. Screening & Suitability
All Assignees are screened prior to placement, including skills assessment and reference verification. Should an Assignee prove unsuitable within the first 3 (three) working days, the Client will not be charged for that period and Pro Personnel will arrange a suitable replacement.
5. Client Obligations
The Client will provide a safe working environment and reasonable supervision of Assignees, and will comply with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation for the duration of the assignment.
6. Direct Engagement
Should the Client wish to employ an Assignee on a permanent basis, the Client agrees to notify Pro Personnel. A permanent placement fee (as per Pro Personnel's permanent placement terms) will apply where an Assignee is engaged directly within 12 (twelve) months of their last assignment.
7. POPIA & Data Protection
Both parties will process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Assignee information may only be used for the purpose of managing the assignment.
